September 2013 – ENMCA have produced the following briefing in response to the political agreement on the proposal amending the recognition of professional qualifications Directive (2005/36/EC). This briefing sets out ENMCA’s views on some changes proposed by the European Parliament and the Council.

20 March, 2013 March 2013 – ENMCA Briefing on the report of the IMCO committee (Internal Market) on the Professional Qualifications Directive 2005/36/EC. This briefing sets out ENMCA’s views on key amendments proposed by the IMCO committee ahead of the trialogue negotiations and the European Parliament's vote.

November 2012 – ENMCA's briefing on the proposed amendments from the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee (IMCO) on the proposal amending the recognition of professional qualifications Directive (2005/36/EC). This briefing sets out ENMCA’s views the key amendments from the IMCO.

September 2012 – European Network of Medical Competent Authorities views on the European Parliament reports. ENMCA produced the following statement in response to the IMCO draft report and ENVI draft opinion on the proposal, which reflects earlier discussions had in Cyprus in September.

September 2010 – ENMCA Statement adopted in Berlin. Since May 2010 the informal network of competent authorities for the recognition of professional qualifications for doctors has held a series of meetings to discuss and share their experiences with the implementation of Directive 2005/36/EC on the mutual recognition of professional qualifications.

September 2011 – ENMCA contribution to the EC green paper on Modernising the Professional Qualifications Directive, the medical competent authorities in the EEA's consultation on the professional qualifications Directive in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC from the European Commission.
