September 2010 – ENMCA Statement adopted in Berlin. Since May 2010 the informal network of competent authorities for the recognition of professional qualifications for doctors has held a series of meetings to discuss and share their experiences with the implementation of Directive 2005/36/EC on the mutual recognition of professional qualifications.
September 2011 – ENMCA contribution to the EC green paper on Modernising the Professional Qualifications Directive, the medical competent authorities in the EEA's consultation on the professional qualifications Directive in accordance with Directive 2005/36/EC from the European Commission.

January 2012 – Rome adopted statement, position paper on the Proposal to amend the 2005/36/EC professional qualifications Directive on the recognition of professional qualifications and Regulation, this position paper is in complement to the Network response to European Commission (EC)’s March 2011
